Cricket World Cup 2007 is now entering an interesting super 8 round. Eight teams Australia, South Africa, West Indies, Ireland, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh ,New Zealand, England are qualifing for the super8 round of the world cup. In the super8 round each team will play with the other groups teams i.e each team will play 6 matches in this round and they will compete for Semi Finals. Australia, West Indies, Sri Lanka and New Zealand are entering super8 round with 2 bouns points each as they won the match against other qualifing team from their group. An easy going for Australia and New Zealand.

Although the predictions from Group Matches was that it will eliminate all minnows at the first stage of world cup. But the upsets from Bangladesh and Ireland made them qualify for the super eight stage of the world cup. This has made an easy going for Australia and New Zealand as they qualified with bonus points and will play against Bangladesh and Ireland. If there is no more upsets, Australia and New Zealand will win against Bangladesh and Ireland they will get 6 points each. For other teams opportunities are equal. Sri Lanka and West Indies are entering with bonus points but they have only one match each with weak team, i.e Ireland and Bangladesh respectively. On the other hand South Africa and England have two easy matches but they have 0 bonus points.
